Secretary Simon Completes 9th Statewide Tour
SAINT PAUL – On January 16, 2026, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon completed his ninth statewide tour of Minnesota. During his 11 years in office, Secretary Simon has made it a priority to regularly visit all 87 counties to meet with students, voters, local election officials, business leaders, and Safe-at-Home program partners.
“The best ideas come from all over Minnesota. Meeting with Minnesotans is one of the best parts of my work, there are so many hardworking, creative, and talented people across the state supporting our elections, business services, and Safe-at-Home programs,” said Secretary Simon. “With each visit, I gain new perspective, insights, and ideas on the challenges and opportunities facing our state. I’m grateful to everyone who has opened their doors and taken the time to meet with me and my team.”
Secretary Simon concluded his most recent statewide tour on January 15 and 16, 2026 with stops in Big Stone, Lac qui Parle, Pope, Traverse, and Yellow Medicine counties.
